Webinar Software - Adoption Advice

Good question about adoption of webinar software / services - this time from someone who went to my workshop in Cincinnati - Revolution in Workplace Learning - who by the way - called it "awesome." Here's the question: We are currently moving toward web-based training for an external audience and have been experimenting with a modest product called Ready Talk. Our webinars have been successful by our standards and for the most part, we've been early adopters of the technology.

The real question here is probably more about how you work with your management to get them to understand the challenge, how you might approach it, the risks of not doing a more thorough evaluation.

I even would think that someone having to do a download like WebEx does would be annoying enough that users wouldn't want it. So, some questions I'm hoping to figure out shortly: Are there examples out there of sites who are already doing this for their users? Are we too early still for the technology? Two of my start-up clients have recently discussed adding video conferencing to their web offering.

You would categorize the space from faceless (WebEx) to 3D/complex (Second Life) and your solution is this new category of approachable 3D. This new survey tool appears to have additional multimedia question types, but I was not clear on why that's any better than providing some media or a small embedded captivate piece and having the question there.
