One interesting result is that the audience for my eLearning 2.0 Going back through the back chat / back channel during my presentation was really interesting to me. Since I couldn't read it at the same time I was presenting, it was amazing how much conversation was going on among the participants. I'm not sure I get how anyone could keep up with all the discussion there and listen to my presentation at the same time.

FeedYes Now Spamming with Ads

Over a year ago I had set up two FeedYes feeds (see eLearning Technology: RSS Feeds from Static Magazines ) for eLearn Magazine and LearningCircuits. The good news is that eLearn Magazine now has it's own feed at: [link] LearningCircuits doesn't and I've not yet looked for a replacement tool. Any suggestions on a good replacement for FeedYes to automatically send RSS feeds based on updates to the LearningCircuits home page

Here's what he said: I just don't get why folks are trying to lump in wikis, blogs, rss, etc. RSS, Blog, Wikis, etc. I agree with Matthew that there's nothing inherent in these tools that makes them an eLearning tool. When you look at the examples from my blog post that he cites - Examples of eLearning 2.0 - clearly these things are being applied to formal and informal learning opportunities.

The really nice thing about the way Jon Udell has set up his elmcity project (the system we are using) is that it acts a lot like social curation on RSS sources as provided by Browse My Stuff , but brings together designated calendars instead of blogs or other RSS sources.
