Narrowing Gap between Face-to-Face and Online Presentations

Tony Karrer

It seems that face-to-face and online presenting are becoming more similar. Some aspects: Wireless access is becoming more common in places where presentations occur. A larger percentage of the audience these days brings a laptop to presentations and it seems that the factor of Laptop Distraction is quieting down. In fact, this is on of my favorite things about online presentations (see Examples of eLearning 2.0 eLearning Technology.

eLearning Strategy Presentation

Clark Quinn

I gave my eLearning Strategy presentation to the eLearning Division of ASTD’s LA Chapter. Despite some technical hiccups (GoToWebinar doesn’t seem to have a chat feature, nor does it allow Mac users to be presenters, ahem), the presentation went off reasonably well. And now, it’s available online. It takes quite a while to load (guess it’s *huge*), but you can hear the whole hour+. I’d welcome your feedback

Shift in eLearning from Pure Courseware towards Reference Hybrids

Tony Karrer

To explain this, I need to step back and deal with the fact that terminology around eLearning Patterns is problematic.
