Institutional Innovation - I Have a Dream

John Hagel

As I explore this dream, I’m going to refer to a lot of the work we’ve been doing at the Center for the Edge since I’ve been pursuing this dream for a quite a while. Today they are an unnatural bundle of three very different and often conflicting business types: infrastructure management, product innovation and commercialization, and customer relationship businesses. Everyone talks about transformation these days, but the term is used so loosely that it’s begun to lose all meaning.

Irving Wladawsky-Berger

Given the realities of globalization, disruptive innovation, and profound changes across technology, markets and society, it should not be surprising that CEOs and their companies must now navigate a highly volatile and unpredictable business environment.
