Tony Karrer

You can find all sorts of interesting resources via eLearning Learning around Adoption. Not surprising, the terms most closely associated with Adoption are Adoption of Social Software and Adoption of Enterprise 2.0. and eLearning 2.0

Janet juxtaposes the recent inclusion of eLearning 2.0 The questions she raises are: Is the edupunk ideology saying that the use of social media in commercial learning management systems is an assault on the very philosophy of learning 2.0? Adoption. If you have a population of learners who have already adopted tools (such as blogging and social bookmarking) for themselves that are different than the corporate tool (the LMS) do you ask them to move?

methods to see examples of where and how tools such as social networks, social bookmarking, wikis, blogs, and RSS readers fit into day-to-day knowledge work and larger learning solutions. First Thoughts After ASTD Sessions

Tony Karrer

The first session was an Introduction to eLearning 2.0. The slides were similar to eLearning 2.0 Almost no one was familiar with social bookmarking. I tried to go all the way from the overall landscape to individual tools back to the new landscape that is eLearning 2.0. The Second Session was intended to be a discussion session that was eLearning 2.0 - Applications and Implications - a follow-up to the first session. Good adoption.

Tony Karrer

Last week I presented a session at ASTD TechKnowledge entitled eLearning 2.0 - Applications and Implications. Existing Adoption At the very start I asked the audience for examples of where they were currently using these tools as part of learning solutions. I discussed the fact that there was a common Adoption Pattern that went from personal adoption to work groups to organization. It also fits nicely with starting with targeted adoption.
