Social Software Adoption
Not surprising, the terms most closely associated with Adoption are Adoption of Social Software and Adoption of Enterprise 2.0. There are some great resources on this such as: Ten tips for choosing & using social software Adoption of Web 2.0 But the same report tells us: Social software is not a trend that can be ignored.

Usenet evolved as more and more people started using it, creating both technological and social demands on the system. They offer us affordances for group,community and network learning. We are designing for social learning and interaction. This is both a technological and social design issue. This is a complex area.

Remote Collaboration
One was having a small (7 person) project team get together on a conference call and have all of us editing the status report real-time via Google Spreadsheets. Asynchronous Content Sharing / Editing In terms of using these products with remote work teams, Google Spreadsheets seems to have hit the most important items for me.

I'm not sure how we will create these (Google Docs, Wiki, Mindmap, etc.). These would be organized around the following categories: Search Keep/Organize/Refind/Remind Leverage Expertise (Network) Collaborate Scan (Continuous Awareness/Learning) Learning 2.0 and another session on Learning 2.0. Opportunities to apply Learning 2.0
