Two years back, the most popular tools were Firefox, Delicious, Google Search, Skype, and PowerPoint. Currently, the top tools are Twitter, Delicious, Google Reader, Google Docs, and SlideShare. Google Reader. Google Search. I don’t know how my friend and colleague Jane Hart does it. Twitter. Gmail.

DECEMBER 23, 2008 Re-orientation
When I’m looking for something beyond what Google or Wikipedia will find for me, I turn to my research page. For example, I set up a Google search that limits what it finds to learning voices I trust; another pulls answers only from people on John Hagel’s blogroll. Google Docs : collaborative writing and MyDocs in the cloud.
